My name is David Peoples. I am the owner and operator of Peoples Masonry, LLC, a locally-owned masonry contracting service specializing in residential and commercial chimney repair, maintenance and new construction.  I first became interested in masonry at the age of 13 when I began working with my father who has owned his masonry contracting business in New Hampshire’s Lakes Region since 1971.  Learning from and working with my father grew a passion in me for masonry, which, after graduating from Kennebunk High School, led me to Southern Maine Community College’s Masonry Construction and Technology Program.  I continued to learn the business while working with my father at Heritage Enterprises Masonry Contractors, LLC, ultimately becoming a partner and general manager.  In 2011 I moved to Portland and opened Peoples Masonry.  Since then, I have continued to hone my masonry skills by working on hundreds of projects including straightforward chimney repairs, full rip-down and rebuilds of fireplaces, pellet stove installations, new construction and everything in between.  My top priorities are safety and the satisfaction of my customers.  I take great pride in my work and my relationship with my customers. I am thrilled to bring my enthusiasm, experience and positive attitude to southern Maine and look forward to helping you with your masonry and chimney needs!
